How a cover-up works
Text, DM, or book a consult and upload a clear photo of the tattoo you want covered.
I’ll tell you yes, yes after laser lightening, or not a good fit — before any deposit.
I draw the cover-up by hand so it fits your body and fully swallows the old work. You approve it first.
Private studio session. Bigger pieces may take more than one day. Healing care included.
Make It Disappear
Real cover-ups from the chair. Client consent required before any photo goes public.

Can my tattoo be covered?
It depends on size, color, how dark the ink is, and age. Here’s the honest breakdown.
Most faded names, old flash, and light-to-medium work can be covered with a custom design that’s a bit larger and darker.
Very dark, dense black ink sometimes needs a few laser lightening sessions first. I can point you to a clinic nearby.
If it won’t cover well, I’ll say so at the consult and talk through rework, blast-over, or laser instead.
What I cover: ex’s names & old script · faded or blown-out tattoos · tribal & old flash · home-done & scratcher work · tattoos you’ve outgrown · partial cover-ups & reworks

Cover-up FAQ
Can any tattoo be covered?
Most can. Very dark, dense pieces may need laser lightening first. I’ll give you a straight answer from a photo.
Do I need laser removal first?
Not always. If you do, a few lightening sessions are usually enough. I can refer you to a clinic near Sugar Hill.
How big will the new tattoo be?
Usually a bit larger than what’s there, so the new design can fully swallow the old ink.
How much does a cover-up cost?
Same day rates as custom work: $100 / $500 / $900 / $1,250 / $1,600 depending on time needed.
How many sessions will it take?
Small names often finish in one sitting. Bigger back or sleeve cover-ups can take two or more days.
Will the old tattoo still show?
A good cover-up hides it. Fresh ink can look denser at first; as it heals, the design settles.
Can you cover a name?
Yes. Names are one of the most common cover-ups I do.
Where is the studio?
Inked Arts, 4749 Nelson Brogdon Blvd, Bldg 100 Suite 18, Sugar Hill, GA 30518, inside Luxume Salon Suites.
